The Constructive Thinking List.
How it works. In a nutshell.
1. You receive a brief, daily thinking exercise based on an Edward de Bono method
- "Daily" will mean between 3 and 5 times per week.
- The exercises can be done in about 10 minutes or less.
- They are enjoyable and explorative.
- They are not puzzles or "brain-teasers".
- They do not require any special knowledge.
- Most lessons are self-contained.
- They can usually be done by individuals from practically
any background and without any special qualification.
- You don't need to read Edward de Bono's books to join
or participate - but it is encouraged :-)
2. Do your Constructive Thinking exercise and post it back to the coach
- But there's no obligation to do the exercises - you're
welcome to join and either lurk or read the work of others.
Or do the lessons but not post them to the coach.
- You're welcome to do only some of the practice exercises,
or to 'drop out' from time to time. In fact use this tutorial
list according to your goals and at your convenience.
- Most lessons are self-contained and don't rely on previous
lessons. If they do, you will be pointed to the approporiate
archives or to the Thinking.prodos.ORG website for any
needed background at the time.
- You're welcome to do any of the past lessons as well as - or
instead of - the current ones.
3. A compilation of members' "homework" will be posted daily
- Most days the coach will select a sample of members'
"homework" - sometimes at random - and post it to the group,
along with some extra tips and helpful comments.
